Course Description
This course is for drivers seeking their class “D” license that have some experience and time
behind the wheel and just need to brush up on a few skills before taking the State Driving Exam.
This course gives drivers 8 hours of required classroom instruction as well as 3 hours of additional on-line instruction along with practical driving and actual driving with an instructor assisting them in the areas needed to be successful in taking the State Exam. Each student will be given the opportunity at the end of the course to take their road test with a state certified examiner and complete the requirements needed to pass the State Driving Exam.

Course Requirements
-At least 16 years of age
-Valid Alaska Driver's permit for at least 6 months

Length of Course
17 hours of total instruction
-8 hours of classroom instruction
-3 hours of on-line instruction
-6 hours of driving, split between observation
& practical driving. Flexable Day-time or
Night-time driving available.

Course Certificates
Upon successfully completing this course students are given the opportunity to obtain a
State of Alaska Driver’s License Class “D”
